Welcome to the International Printing Museum!
Join us for this hands-on experience, as we learn about the history of printed materials at the International Printing Museum. We will explore the evolution of printing technology and see rare artifacts up close during this Curio Club LA exclusive event. Get set to step back in time and explore one of the world's largest collections of antique printing machinery, including floor and table model iron, proof, and clamshell presses, typewriters, and Unitype and typography machines. Many of these machines are quite unique and have been used in Hollywood period films and TV shows.
The event will begin with an introduction to the museum and the history of printing. We will have to opportunity to view many of the machines in action, as we hear detailed accounts of each apparatus. Then, we will learn to print with various methods of inking, pressing, and rolling,…
